Tilapia with Spicy Mango Salsa

Delicious, healthy, and simple baked fish! Topped with a mango salsa for an extra burst of flavor! Pair it with brown rice, or throw on a corn tortilla for an easy fish taco!


1 lb tilapia or cod filets
1 mango, diced
1 avocado, diced
1/2 cup cilantro, diced
1 jalapeño, seeded and diced
2 tablespoons red onion, diced
2 tsp honey
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 ground cumin
2 tsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste


Fish: In a small bowl combine the paprika, garlic powder, and cumin. Sprinkle over fish with a drizzle of olive oil. Sprinkle salt and pepper on each filet. Place on broil for 10-12 minutes. Make sure to watch so the fish does not burn.

Spicy Mango Salsa:

In a large bowl whisk the honey, lime juice, salt and pepper (to taste). Add the mango, cilantro, avocado, jalapeño, and onion. Stir until combined.

Top each filet of fish with the mango salsa. Add cilantro and extra squeeze of lime juice on each filet.
